A daughter of Dempsey was the overall winner of the Pup of the Year Qualifying heat, Day 1, at Midland Counties.  Owned and bred by Sandra Blackburn, Sandals Saab fought of top competition to win that day, and at only 6 months of age.  The judge was Mr Hans T Lehtinen.  'Saab' is sired by Dempsey, and out of Sandals Macy.

At Leeds Champ Show, Rodale Rare Girl at Torranpoint was awarded the BCC and BOB, under Sue Bennet This is Dempsey's 6th different Challenge Certificate winner.  She is owned by Miss C Mercer and Mr G Tudor.  She also made the shortlist in the group.

Four of Dempsey's progeny were part of the Isara GSP Group in the Breeders Stakes at Three Counties.  They won on the Gundog Day, and returned to compete on the Thursday where they showed with style, and picked as Best Overall, much to the delight of the crowd.  The judge was Andrew Brace.

The four dogs sired by Dempsey were (right to left below) Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Wooster for Merganser, Isara Kurzhaar Chatline of Kavacanne JW, Isara Kurzhaar Applewine of Thorjon JW and Isara Kurzhaar Floosie.  The 5th dog was Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Bootlegger. 

They were handled by Des Flaherty, Adam Rose, Sue Reddyhough, Hannah Rose and Heather Rose respectively.

Isara Kurzhaar Chatline of Kavacanne JW was Top Gundog in the Our Dogs/Vetzyme Pick of the Litter Competition for 2002/2003.  She was also 4th overall for all groups.  She amassed a total of 176 points, in only 4 months of the competition.

Another one of Dempsey's progeny has won over in Ireland.  This time it was Adam Rose's 16 month old bitch, Isara Kurzhaar Chatline of Kavacanne JW.  At the Combined Canine Club, she was awarded 1st place in Limit Bitch, before going on to win Best Bitch in Breed, the CACIB and Green Stars.

Once again Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Wooster for Merganser has won top awards.  He was over in Ireland for the IKC Champ Show and was BOB, winning the CACIB and Green Stars.  He then into an impressive gundog Group and was placed Group 2.

At Crufts 2003 Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Wooster for Merganser, one of Dempsey's progeny, owned by Des Flaherty and Sue Reddyhough was Best of Breed.  There was an entry of 207 dogs, and after a days judging, Wooster was given the top award. 

Many other dogs sired by Dempsey also did well at the show, including Isara Kurzhaar Applewine at Thorjon JW winning Limit Bitch, Rodale Ruffian at Stormcrest 2nd in Limit Dog and Sonnenberg Stormpetrel JW 2nd in Post Graduate Bitch. 

There were also many dogs sired by Dempsey who were awarded places throughout the classes.
